The April installments of Uchiba’s Uncommon Ramen Revisited, a take on Uchiba’s regular series featuring innovative collaborations with renowned chefs from around the country. Uncommon Ramen series has featured such celebrated chefs as Tommy Lee, Chris Shepherd, Tyson Cole, among others. In the “revisited” series, the Uchiba team will be bringing back some of the favorites from past years.
Uchiba will be collaborating with Chef Aaron Franklin in honor of National Ramen Noodle Day for a two-day special and with Chef Justin Holt where a portion of the proceeds from the month will go to support Justin and his partner through this time.
Aaron Franklin and Chef Tyson Cole announced today that Loro, the Asian Smokehouse and Bar, will open a second location, at 1812 N Haskell (corner of Haskell and Munger) in old East Dallas in late Summer 2020. Loro is part of Hai Hospitality, the restaurant group that counts Uchi and Uchiko in Austin; Uchi in Houston; Uchi and Uchiba in Dallas; Uchi in Denver; and Uchi Miami, slated to open in Summer 2020, among its concepts. Hot Luck Festival announced today a new event, MUNCHIES & Friends featuring Aaron Franklin and Matty Matheson, that will “unofficially” kick off the festival on Wednesday, May 23. Additionally, the fest is thrilled to announce the addition of founder Aaron Franklin to the Coupe de Grille lineup.
