Blythe Beck Next LTO Chef

Casie Caldwell, Kitchen LTO creator, announces that chef Blythe Beck has won the position of executive chef and Salma Gottfriend has won the artist position for Kitchen LTO’s 4th round concept. This next round restaurant will open for dinner service on Thursday, October 2nd with lunch service being added the following day and Saturday/Sunday brunch service starting that weekend.

With an engaging wit, earthy zest, and cayenne-red hair, chef Blythe Beck is passionate about creating dishes with tastes and textures that not only please the eye and the palate, but the soul. Beck, who is planning for an upscale southern menu, says, “ I am honored and thankful to be chosen as the next chef at Kitchen LTO and appreciate all who voted for me. I have missed Dallas so much and am excited to be coming home. I can’t wait to cook for, hug, and see everyone. I love this city, and I love this restaurant concept.”   Continue reading

Blythe Beck Leaving Dallas For Gig In Fort Smith

This week could easily be titled Chefs on the Run, and today we bring you one more. Blythe Beck, formerly of Central 214 and her own pink television series The Naughty Chef is leaving Dallas where she has been catering and consulting since leaving her post at the restaurant located in the Hotel Palomar. Yesterday the chef announced she was packing her bags and heading to Fort Smith, Arkansas.

“This is a limited time engagement but I am so excited that I will get to see you all again and cook for you. Plus I am getting to work with an amazing staff, owner, and all new crew!! Dallas is my home but Ft. Smith is my new adventure,” Beck said on her Facebook page. Continue reading

Naughty Chef Blythe Beck Feeds Local Volunteers

Chef Blythe Beck is always on the scene when it’s time to feed soldiers and volunteers. The former Central 214 chef is at it once again serving up a special luncheon yesterday for volunteers at the Dallas Chapter of the American Red Cross. Beck fed the hungry hordes who helped with the recent tornado crisis in the DFW area.   Continue reading
