Commissioner Miller Kicks Off Breakfast Week

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller announced the start of School Breakfast Week, which runs March 2 through 6, 2020, and reminds Texas students that a great day starts with a healthy breakfast. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) administers the School Breakfast Program in Texas, collaborating with more than 8,000 schools to serve about 1.8 million morning meals every school day. During School Breakfast Week, eating a super breakfast has special significance as staff, students and faculty join in the celebration. There you will find delicious sandwiches, soups, pizzas, roasted fish, steaks and hearty pasta dishes. There are also delicate spa foods to be found for those with lighter appetites.  Continue reading
