CBD Provisions will be open during regular hours for Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24) and Christmas Day (Friday, December 25). Meat Fight is upon us, and it would seem every decent barbecue Generalísimo will be either working or judging the event this Sunday. You know you didn’t get a ticket, we didn’t either. Our fingers are just not fast enough to score a ticket as they sell out extremely fast. Regardless, it is a fantastic event that started as a small backyard brouhaha to raise a few bucks for National MS Society by the Observer James Beard award winning writer and Cheap Bastard, Alice Laussade. The event has raised $170,ooo since its grass roots inception for this cause. What makes Meat Fight even better is that 100% of funds raised goes to the MS research to eradicate the disease.

If you attended the last event, you know what amazing talent that Dallas has to offer. This round Justin Holt invited similar talent from across the state of Texas.

Ten local Texas sous chefs will be participating, each preparing one dish for a 10-course plated dinner along with an optional beverage pairing. CBD Provisions Offering Special Goat Themed Dinner Featuring Duchman Winery

On Wednesday, June 3, CBD Provisions joins together with local winery Duchman Winery and Windy Hill Farm for a special “Goats and Grapes” dinner, celebrating the best of Hill Country’s wines, meats, and cheeses. Executive Chef Richard Blankenship will present a “goat-themed” five-course family-style menu featuring goat of some style in every dish, each paired with a signature Duchman Winery varietal. David Reilly of Duchman Wines and Windy Hill farmer Ty Wolosin will also be attending to answer guests’ questions. The event will be capped at 40 people, so guests are encouraged to make reservations by calling the restaurant at 214.261.4500.
