Dog Haus, the celebrated craft casual concept known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers and one-of-a-kind creations, will open its next franchise location in Richardson on July 22. Located at 744 S. Central, in the Richardson Restaurant Park, this will be franchisee Ron Ryan’s first location with the brand, which was founded in 2010 by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and André Vener to recapture the nostalgic childhood experience of eating a hot dog. Legacy West’s grand opening celebrations are scheduled for Friday, June 2-Sunday, June 4, 2017. The celebration weekend will feature live entertainment from top national and local musical acts as well as food and drink tastings, special store discounts and a “sneak peek” first look inside Legacy Hall, the 55,000 square foot food hall. , a modern American restaurant, will open this May at 2826 Elm Street in Deep Ellum. The concept comes from restaurant group Smoke & Mortar, which is led by Bruce Wills, Daniel Wills, Ray Skradzinski and Tim Porter.
In addition to serving up classics like burgers and sandwiches, IdleRye’s cuisine will pull from each of the owners’ backgrounds – Skradzinski’s Polish heritage and the Wills brothers’ Louisiana roots – to create rich and colorful food with a global flair. A variety of fresh, seasonal dishes will be offered for brunch, lunch, dinner and late night services.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House had its grand opening of its Uptown location yesterday beginning with a Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour at 4:30pm, then opened for Dinner Service at 5pm. The restaurant is located at 1900 Cedar Springs on the ground floor of the Miro luxury residential high-rise.
Known for signature Prime Steaks served sizzling on 500° plates (so they stay warm through the very last bite), fresh salads, sides, and daily created-from-scratch desserts, Ruth’s Chris will bring extra sizzle to Uptown Dallas with new menu selections. New items such as the crab stack appetizer, colossal seafood tower, roasted Brussels sprouts, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and signature cuts of beef like the impressive 40 ounce Tomahawk Ribeye and the bone-in New York Strip are expected to be some of the menu’s most popular highlights. Top Pot Doughnuts will open their third Texas retail café at the new Richardson CityLine development located at 1251 State Street in Richardson, TX (intersection of President George Bush Turnpike and US-75). The Seattle doughnut and coffee icon opened last year on Hillcrest and this past Spring in Greenville. The café will offer fresh-made-daily varieties of hand-forged doughnuts, their own fresh roasted coffee and soft-serve ice cream. Hours of operation are 6am to 6pm daily. Continue reading
