Ruth’s Chris Now Open In Uptown Dallas With An Amazing Happy Hour

Ruth’s Chris Steak House had its grand opening of its Uptown location yesterday beginning with a Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour at 4:30pm, then opened for Dinner Service at 5pm. The restaurant is located at 1900 Cedar Springs on the ground floor of the Miro luxury residential high-rise.

Known for signature Prime Steaks served sizzling on 500° plates (so they stay warm through the very last bite), fresh salads, sides, and daily created-from-scratch desserts, Ruth’s Chris will bring extra sizzle to Uptown Dallas with new menu selections. New items such as the crab stack appetizer, colossal seafood tower, roasted Brussels sprouts, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and signature cuts of beef like the impressive 40 ounce Tomahawk Ribeye and the bone-in New York Strip are expected to be some of the menu’s most popular highlights. In addition, Ruth’s Chris will feature an $8 “Sizzle, Swizzle, Swirl” Happy Hour Sunday through Friday.   Continue reading →

Top Pot Doughnuts Opens Thursday, Nov 12

Top Pot Doughnuts will open their third Texas retail café at the new Richardson CityLine development located at 1251 State Street in Richardson, TX (intersection of President George Bush Turnpike and US-75). The Seattle doughnut and coffee icon opened last year on Hillcrest  and this past Spring in Greenville. The café will offer fresh-made-daily varieties of hand-forged doughnuts, their own fresh roasted coffee and soft-serve ice cream. Hours of operation are 6am to 6pm daily.  Continue reading →

Patrizio’s Grand Opening Tonight

ZaLat Grand Opening April 1st, Now Delivers Until 4am

It has been just over a month since Khanh Nguyen opened his new pizza haunt ZaLat next door to his famous late night pho restaurant DaLat on Fitzhugh in Dallas.  Since then he has had a growing number of fans take advantage of the delivery service which roughly covers a five mile radius of the new shop. Since we broke the story most of the Dallas media picked up on the fact that Khanh is actually making one of the best pizzas around – and for good reason.  Continue reading →

Chef Gianni Santin and Chef Tida Pichakron teamed up to form Haute Sweets Patisserie. Now located in Old Lake Highlands, Haute Sweets Patisserie provides high-end desserts, French Macarons, wedding cakes, and specialty cakes for the DFW Metroplex. They use only the freshest and finest ingredients to make some of the most amazing treats, including Paleo and Gluten-free desserts.

Messina Hof Grapevine Grand Opening This Week

This week Messina Hof Winery is celebrating the grand opening of Grapevine location, which is one of the first full wineries on tap in Texas. Messina Hof opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 12. In addition, there will be special Winery Tours and Tastings Friday, December 12 – Sunday, December 14.

The special events will include tastings of Messina Hof’s most awarded wines, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and premium desserts, discussions with the Bonarrigo family and tours of the historic building. A Sneak Peek At Frisco Gun Club Menus

Nearly one year ago we broke the story of the enormous gun club opening in Frisco. The private membership club was said to offer luxury amenities and fine dining. They held true to the promise in every way, and is scheduled to host a grand opening December 6 and 7, 2013. More recently the Frisco Gun Club announced that they secured mega-chef Scot Romano as executive, and he has been working on his menu since.

On the new executive gig Romano said, “This feels like the right fit for me. It’s all about balance. I look forward to impressing our VIP members daily in an intimate dining atmosphere and still being in contact with everyone else in a sophisticated casual cafe… as a chef and a hunter, it’s like a dream job.”

Today craveDFW secured a sneak preview of the menu Romano has been working on along with a few tasty photos.
