Who is Morgxn? Meet Indie-Pop’s Newest Sensation

As gender norms are quickly becoming more blurred, Nashville singer/songwriter Morgxn is defying the rules of normative masculinity and creating his own genre of pop music. Morgxn released his debut album vital this past May, which caught the attention of indie band Dreamers, who invited him to join them on their nationwide tour this past fall. Continue reading

Checking in to the local music scene find some great entertainment coming to North Texas:

Catch Otherwise, the hard rock Las Vegas band at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill tonight, July 5. They have released two full-length albums on the independent label Century Media Records, titled True Love Never Dies (2012) and Peace At All Costs(2014). Previous to signing their record deal with Century Media, as an unsigned band they released one self-titled full-length album “Otherwise” (2006) and one EP titled “Some Kind of Alchemy” (2009). I Imagined Dragons

The streets of Dallas near the AAC were filled with herds of people on Monday, although this particular night the crowds were moving in opposite directions.  What!!–not everyone walking about was headed to watch the Mavs?  The scantily clad tweensters, hipsters, and music-folk alike were headed to the House of Blues for the sold out and highly anticipated Imagine Dragons feature, while dedicated Mavs fans made their way to check out the Hawks.  Continue reading
