Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country returns to Dallas for a live performance at The Kessler Theater on February 21, following the release of their acclaimed third LP, Horizons (August 22 via Retrace Music). Led by Nashville-based guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader Daniel Donato, the group continues to expand its genre-defying “Cosmic Country” sound—a high-velocity blend of country, rock, bluegrass, funk, and psychedelia engineered to thrive on stage. Birdies Eastside Featuring Live Music Tuesdays

Birdie’s Eastside is debuting Live Music Tuesdays, a weekly series spotlighting talented musicians from East Dallas. This exciting addition will kick off on Tuesday, October 29, with performances tailored to create a lively community experience in the heart of the neighborhood.

The series opens with Ryan Berg, a local favorite and contestant from Season 19 of The Voice. Following on November 5, The Party Crowd Duo takes the stage, featuring East Dallas’ own Taylor Young of The O’s fame, delivering a unique set of 80’s country covers.

Fishing For Seafood At Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille

The Perry family opened its first restaurant in 1979 in Southeast Houston as a modest meat market called Perry’s Butcher Shop and Deli. In 1986, Chris Perry persuaded his father Bob to add dining tables, which eventually led to an expansion and the opening of a second market. As the markets gained popularity, Chris opened Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in 1993. The original two butcher shops are also still in operation as Perry & Sons Market & Grille. Continue reading →

The Free Man is Now Serving Weekend Brunch

When you think of the Free Man in Deep Ellum images of some of the very best in Cajun fare come to mind including their gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice and crawfish etouffee. The music is pretty top notch as well, with multiple bands playing each night with absolutely zero cover charge. That leaves more  spending cash for the food and sturdy cocktails.

Last week the Free Man introduced a brunch which is a delightful change of pace from your average Dallas brunch fare.   Continue reading →

Free Live Music Nightly at Sundown at the Granada
