NTFB Empty Bowls March 5


The North Texas Food Bank will host its 20th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser, presented by Kroger, on March 5 at their new distribution center in Plano, the Perot Family Campus.

In addition to soup and other bowl-friendly fare from more than 20 North Texas restaurants, attendees can select a handcrafted bowl from some of Texas’ finest artist as a memento of the day. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction, and more. Continue reading

DFW Restaurant Week: Participants To Be Unveiled On “Reservation Day” July 16 | Dining Opens August 13


The wait is almost over! The 21st Annual DFW Restaurant Week presented by Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers returns August 13, 2018, with a record number of restaurants and even more opportunities to dine out and help others with the new DFW RestaurantWeek Specialty Bites campaign. DFW Restaurant Week is North Texas’ largest annual dining event as well as a major fundraiser, with every meal supporting charity partners the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) or Lena Pope. NTFB Empty Bowls March 2nd (Contest)

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is proud to announce a signature event, the 19th annual Empty Bowls, will be held on March 2, 2018 at the The F.I.G. (1807 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201).

Guests will enjoy a European-themed lunch featuring soup and other delicacies from 20+ of North Texas’ finest restaurants. Attendees can select a handcrafted bowl featuring the talents of Texas artists and potters as a memento of the day.   Continue reading
