One of our favorite local chefs, Richard Chamberlain, will be in his kitchens at Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill this Thursday where he will prepare a sweetheart of a dinner along with a full demonstration starting at 6:30pm. The Friday event has already sold out, but you may book for the Thursday event (while seats are still available) by calling the chef at 972.503.3474 today. This should be an exciting evening out and a terrific alternative to the Valentines madness. Check below for the full menu and details.

The all new Draught Haus: This replaces the former SportHalle (inside and around the Conference Centre) and will be designed and operated by State Fair fried food king Isaac Rousse (he of the fried Pop Tart and this year’s Fried Cuban Sandwich.)
Kaffee und Kuchen Haus update: The team at Polk A Dot bakery takes over this favorite with an expanded bakery menu and more treats all weekend long. Continue reading

Just a few short years later Chamberlain went on to work with Dean Fearing as sous at Agnew’s in Dallas, and a series of marvelous restaurants such as Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, Ratcliffe’s and San Simeon in Dallas, and the Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado. We will run their answers both today and tomorrow, so check back often to see how your favorite chef weighs in on the holiday.
Chef-owner Richard Chamberlain of both Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House and Chamberlain’s Fish Market weighed in on our holiday survey. Chamberlain is an avid hunter and fisherman, so you can bet there will be a large bounty set at his family table. Continue reading
