For guests who visit Munich’s famed Oktoberfest, the ticket to have is in the VIP balconies of the 16 bier tents at the festival. At Addison Oktoberfest, the most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in North America, the Paulaner Partyhalle tent has a similar opportunity. Noted chef and restaurateur Richard Chamberlain will host Chamberlain’s Brau Haus, a full-service restaurant overlooking the Addison Oktoberfest dance floor.
Guests at Chamberlain’s Brau Haus will enjoy a three-course meal, with each course paired with a Paulaner bier.
Warm Sea Salt Pretzel with Paulaner Bier Dill Mustard
Black Forest Mushroom and Yukon Potato Soup with Peppercorn Bacon and Leek Sour Cream
Paulaner Oktoberfest Weisn
Paulaner Hefe-Weisn and Cider Braised Pork with Muenster Cheese and Chive Potatoes
Bratwurst, Grobe and Weisswurst Sausages with Smoked Pork Belly Braised Red Cabbage and Riesling Mustard Sauce
Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen
Warm Bavarian Cherry Strudel with Toasted Almonds and Cherry Liqueur Sauce
The meal is filling, beer paired (and you get to keep the giant stein) so go ahead and secure your seats now. I am positive you will find Chamberlain in the massive makeshift kitchen and you will be able to chat up the chef as he is extremely affable.
Seating at Chamberlain’s Brau Haus is only $60 per person, and includes the three-course meal paired with Paulaner biers or wine, general adult admission to Addison Oktoberfest, a .5-liter commemorative stein and a $25 promotional gift card to either Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House or Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill*.
