Royal Blue Grocery in Highland Park Village will open its doors late September or early October 2015 at 1 Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas. Locally owned and operated by Dallas residents Zac Porter, Emily Ray-Porter and Cullen Potts, the 6,000 square foot two-story urban market will serve as the shopping center’s new flagship grocer while also offering breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Originally founded in Austin of 2006, each Royal Blue Grocery carries a different variety of food, beverage and household needs tailored to the surrounding neighborhood and people it serves. This new store (the largest in the Royal Blue Grocery family) will feature mainstay grocery departments such as produce, bakery, butcher shop, deli, floral, beer, wine and more with the added bonus of catering, a café, patio seating, and a Stumptown coffee bar. With seating for 70-plus in the café, on the mezzanine level and on the outside patio, it will also serve as a charming gathering spot for the grab-and-go breakfast, lunch or dinner menu options.
