The Office Grill: Closing There and Opening Here

by Steven Doyle

The Office Grill  has certainly been plagued with their own variety of troubles and today announce that they are closing their doors at days end. Or are they?

Today we received word that Michael Costa’s Rainmaker Group is in final discussions with a national restaurant consortium whose two chains are a household name and in negotiations with a few other developers to share the Office concept on a much larger scale. The negotiations will possibly be completed with in 48 hours.

“As with any strong brand, the power of the concept is the engine that drives it. It’s no secret that we’ve had a rough year with our lack of landlord support in our present location, but the idea and passion behind the Office Concept has proven consistent with current trending and our culture. People today are busy, and who else is creating a place where one doesn’t mind staying late at the Office?” Michael Costa says. “We are very excited about the opportunity to roll the concept of turning work into play out in more communities in 2012.”

The Office Grill has been the affection of the many local reality series including the Dallas Housewives, and despite lacking a liquor license for some time has moved on strong until this announcement.

Initial plans include the finalization of the locations for an Office Grill in Uptown Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. After several scrapes with the law Costa seems to show that he has not used all of his nine lives and is going strong. This will get interesting, folks.

Steven, you’ve been duped. This is a fluff piece for a scumbag who has screwed over a lot of poeple who didn’t deserve it. Do some research, you’re better than this.

    • I know his background. I just thought it was really interesting that he said he was going to hook up with another company and start over. Am I the only one to find that fascinating? I wasn’t worried about slinging mud in any direction. I knew once I reported this the bear would be poked.
