Johnny’s Pizza Opens Today in Addison

by Steven Doyle

One more pizza top add to the long line up in the DFW area. Johnny’s Pizza, known through out the southeast, has set up shop in Addison. The smallish chain boasts a strong following from transplants from states like Louisiana and Georgia, originating in Monroe, LA.

Look for a few unusual toppings like andouille sausage. This pie is power packed with ingredients with a thick buttery crust. The restaurant also offers up muffulettas and wings.

The Addison location is 4515 Belt Line Road. Think across from Dukes Roadhouse.

  1. Ah.. you have no idea how great this chain is… finally in Dallas too. Sweep the Kitchen, Sweep the Swamp, and their 1 topping hamburger pizza are my favorites. I hope this succeeds here in Dallas as I personally feel it’s better than the more upscale places in town. Hopefully the rest of Dallas will feel the same!

    • We have heard from dozens of fans all day. Guess we will be be checking this out, too.

In honor of Carnival, I will be stuffing my face with Johnny’s all weekend. I’m pretty sure they sprinkle a little crack in their pies. Hope DFW finds it as addictive as us Louisianians who hold it so near and dear to our hearts.

  3. The whole family is excited to see Johnny’s is in North Texas now! We’re making a road trip (from South Arlington, Fort Worth and Joshua) to re-visit our favorite pizza from our youth. Yummy! BTW great muffs too!

  4. We love Johnny’s pizza! I have a business right up the street Texas Motorcars and we order it for lunch every Sunday. During the week we order it and everyone gets a personal pizza just the way they like it! The topping are the key. They actually use cheese I think compared to most chains!

That looks to be a delicious pizza. I would eat that.
