Cafe Brazil Closing McKinney Location

by Steven Doyle

Cafe Brazil is announcing the closure of their McKinney store, located at 3190 South Central Expressway in McKinney, Texas.

“We have enjoyed a great 7-year run and thank everyone who has been a part of it,” says Brant Wood, Chairman and CEO of Cafe Brazi. “Our lease expires at the end of this month, and unfortunately, we were unable to come to an agreement with the landlord that will allow us to operate profitably. Our last day of operations will be Sunday, July 29. We hope to replace this location somewhere in the area in the near future. Until then, customers can visit us at any of our other 10 Metroplex locations including Plano and Richardson.”

Cafe Brazil has 10 remaining locations around the Dallas-Fort Worth area to serve hungry diners. Café Brazil still remains one of our favorite spots for breakfast and a quick lunch as well as late nights. We are particularly fond of the spicy spinach crepe.

All of the Cafe Brazil locations I have been to have been great, EXCEPT the McKinney location. Not sure why this one was so bad. I was excited when I moved to McKinney to see there was a Cafe Brazil…until I ate there. Still love all the others. Not surprised this one closed.
