Taco Cina Closed

Ace photographer Joey Stewart (who is actually a film maker, but loves to play with us at craveDFW) sent me a text showing me that my favorite queso joint had closed. Taco Cina, which was a bit hidden on the southwest corner of Preston and Royal, served up a few really good crunchy tacos and did a fine job on their chips and queso at a bargain price.

This restaurant was originally located at DFW airport under the name Los Amigos, and that location failed as well.

We bid you a fond adieu, Taco Cina.

It was good – unfortunately that spot has had more reincarnations than Shirley McLaine.

I walked in one time to it (empty) on a Friday evening and stood for 5 min as they looked over their shoulders at us like we were bill collectors. They deserve to go under.
