Have you heard about The Wine Poste? If not, you will be seeing more information on the new venue located in the ever growing Design District flying from every direction soon, I am sure. The Wine Poste is a new twist on retail and online wine sales. The store is housed in a 4,500 square foot warehouse and was designed with comfort in mind. In addition to providing a well-curated selection of wine for sale, the Wine Poste features three distinct event spaces available for wine tastings, dinner parties, corporate events and more.

On Wednesday, May 1st, the Wine Poste is excited to host a special tasting with Gandona, one of California’s most celebrated new wineries. Gandona’s vintner, Manuel Pires, will be on hand to meet with attendees, sign bottles and discuss the two incredible Cabernet Sauvignons that he’s currently making.

The wine tasting is $25, but this charge is waived for all attendees who purchase a bottle. It’s a rare opportunity to taste and acquire these wines, which are released in very limited quantities.

The featured Gandona wines include the 2010 Gandona Cabernet Sauvigno and 2010 Encosta Cabernet Sauvignon. Gandona is rooted in tradition and a passion for transforming land into something extraordinary. It’s born from an estate that rests upon a sloping hillside high above the beauty of Napa Valley and Lake Hennessey – its vineyards, carved from the steep terrain and planted in four blocks, each possess their own distinct personality.

This tasting is May 1, 2013, 6 to 8pm. The Wine Poste is located at 2001 Irving Blvd, Suite 145. Call 214-272-3221 for more details.
