Vernaccia from San Gimignano is a respected white wine from the Tuscan ‘town of bell towers’. This example exhibits bracing lime flavors in the mouth. Typical Vernaccia metal-that-I-was-made-in nose. Good acid. A great match with shellfish I think. About $8 retail, and good value at that price.
