Rathbun Hosts A BBQ Workshop

I think if you were to tally up all the chef’s names we have mentioned or written about on craveDFW, Kent Rathbun’s would top that list. Not that we particularly like him (we do), but that he is so involved in many, many projects. Rathbun is known for his grill skills and now wants to share some of his guarded secrets with you and a few friends. On June 5, 2013 at 7pm Rathbun will host a BBQ Workshop at his KB’s catering and event venue located in Plano.

The workshop promises to make you rib savvy as he demonstrates the finer techniques using baby back, St Louis, and country style pork ribs. In addition you will learn the differences between a wet and a dry strip loin, grill a whole fish and a whole chicken.


Sounds like a lot of food will be flying that evening, and there will be. In addition to the educational aspect to the evening, the Chef will also offer a BBQ buffet and pair it with beer from Franconia Brewery in McKinney.
