Not quite finished with your fix for fireworks after Kaboom Town? Want to feel extra patriotic this year? Or maybe you’re just a purist, who wants their exploding light show to happen on the 4th of July proper. Whatever you reason, why not paint the DFW red, white and blue tonight at some of the great events going on around Dallas and Fort Worth.

Bedford, Denton, Arlington and Dallas all have great events and fireworks tonight, check out our list below, and remember to stay safe! ‘Merica!

Arlington Highlands 4th of July Extravaganza – They’ll be kicking things off at 7pm and lighting up the sky at 9:30. Get a spot by the east side of Dave and Busters for the best view of the action.

Bedford 4thFest – Live music, Festival food AND fireworks, come celebrate “60 years of service” in Bedford tonight. Parking will be available at Pennington Field, 1501 Central Drive with shuttles to the event at Boys Ranch Park (last shuttle leaves at 9:30).

Denton Kiwanis Club’s 40th Annual 4th of July Fireworks –  Come check out some pyrotechnic bliss at UNT’s new Apogee Stadium.  Doors at 5:30pm, music at 6:30 and fireworks at dusk.

Dallas Arboretum – The Dallas Wind Symphony will be putting on an extra special patriotic show tonight, plus a costume contest! All active duty or retired military personnel get in free.

Dallas Fair Park Fourth – The Dallas Wind Symphony will also be preforming at Fair Park tonight, with guest conductor Don McKinney. Doors at 4:30pm. Dancing water and games for the kids, ending with a big bang at 9:30pm.
