Ai Sushi Sake Grill To Open In Ilume

Some buildings are perhaps best suited for sushi. This might be the case at 41243 Cedar Springs in Dallas, formerly home to Axiom Sushi. This is where Monica Green opened for a few months with her unique concept of Mexican food on one side and late night sushi on the other.

Shortly after Monica pulled up stakes and headed to Aspen, Colorado I got a call from Fernando  Luna Jr, yes from the recently destroyed tortilla factory, and he said he was planning to open  new restaurant in that spot and to hang loose and I would get the details.  A month went by and I followed up with Luna and he said he had some difficulties with the lease and dropped the project.

Now we see a banner flying at the Ilume building announcing that sushi is coming back. This time it will be Ai Sushi Sake Grill. This will most likely sit well with the neighborhood.
