We are pleased to be the media sponsor for the Texas Discovery Gardens located at the State Fair of Texas this year, and these folks are doing some terrific things. The Texas Discovery Gardens is an organic urban oasis filled with natural wonders for visitors of all ages. Sitting on 7.5 acres of organic gardens, the Discovery Gardens hosts a native butterfly habitat, Shakespeare Garden and more.
This year The Texas Discovery garden has invited Bolsa to serve you fresh food in a the beautiful climate controlled environment where they will be serving up tasty treats not found on the Fairgrounds such as Luscher Dogs, fresh wraps and salads all prepared by the team of chefs at top rated Oak Cliff restaurant. Â You can also find tamales from the Tamale Company.
In addition to great food, you may also enjoy a local craft beer from Four Corners Brewing Company without a side of Fair pricing. There are no tickets used inside the Discovery garden, just use cash or credit card.
As an added bonus, we are offering half price admission during the State Fair. This is definitely a place you will want to relax and escape the elements at the Fair. Stop by and enjoy good food and beer at the Texas Discovery Gardens.

Oh I would LOVE to win! My parents’ first date was at the State Fair, and my husband’s and my first date was there too! We would love to take our two children this year. It’s not very original of me, but my favorite “attraction” is the food! Excited to try the fried Cuban roll.
the new big tex!
My favorite attraction at the Fair is the bungee-drop, takes 1-3 people 130 feet up in the air, you pull a cord, and free-fall towards the onlookers below. I am not seeing it in this year’s program, I will be super bummed if it isn’t there. Every year I have gone, I love to do this 1st thing when I arrive, then go stuff my face with corn dogs & turkey legs & fried frito pie & funnel cakes. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=2391533183205&set=vb.1097131216&type=3&theater
I can hardly wait to go. Love the food from Bolsa and crazy about the tamales from the Tamale Company and of course Four Corners beer is fantastic!!!
I would love to go to this!! Favorite attraction would be ,(hypothetically bc I’ve never been) the Ferris wheel.
I have lived in Texas for 16 years now. I can walk to fair park yet, never had the money to go, or when I actually did, my friends did not!
My boyfriend moved to Texas from Florida about 10 months ago and we’d love to experience it for the first time, together 🙂
I live in the neighborhood right behind it, being that today is the 1st day, I’m already seeing everyone rushing in.
My favorite attraction is the Art Deco architecture in its full splendor during the State Fair. Of course, I wouldn’t miss Big Tex, the dog show, or the animals.
Our favorite family attraction is the Texas Star. How exciting to have Bolsa and Four Corners at the Fair!
