TopGolf The Colony hosted a VIP grand opening party last evening with plenty of pretty people on hand. The party’s red carpet was adorned with famous Texans including: Pro Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman; Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo and Bradie James; Dallas Stars players Jordie Benn, Tyler Sequin, Brenden Dillon and Cody Eakin; Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler; PGA Tour players Hunter Mahan and Colt Knost as well as Shy and Charlotte Anderson; along with Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings. Other guests included TopGolf The Colony’s Platinum Members and community leaders.

The exclusive, invite only private event featured music and entertainment from DJ Lucy Wrubel, a live art demonstration from Red Bull’s Canvas Cooler Project, prize giveaways, complimentary hors d’oeuvre’s, signature cocktails and, of course, TopGolf play. Billy the Kidd from 106.1 KISS-FM emceed the evening’s festivities with Lili from 102.9 NOW.

TopGolf  The Colony opened to the public on Nov. 4 and is the company’s third location in DFW. This particular facility includes 102 climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, more than 225 high-definition flat-screen TVs, a rooftop terrace with a stage, and 3,000 square feet of private event space. The company hired approximately 450 people to staff the site, which it expects will serve more than 400,000 visitors its first year of operation.
