Chopshop Sports Garage on Midway Rd. in Carrollton is celebrating Independence Day weekend with a big block party. What’s more “’America” than BBQ, ZZ Top tributes and fireworks? Uh, nothing.
Today DJ Rev spins from 4-9 p.m. to get your red, white and blue blood pumping. Then, watch the Kaboom Town Fireworks Show from the Chopshop parking lot — it’s bring-your-own chairs and blankets. After the fireworks, continue the birthday party good enough for ‘Merica with ZZ Top-inspired tunes from tribute band Trio Grande.
In addition to Chopshop’s full menu, an outdoor BBQ smoker will be cooking turkey legs and other BBQ meats for $8/plate. The signature drink for this festivity is the Patriot Frozen Margarita for $4/glass (photo attached). The fireworks are not limited to the sky only, as Chopshop will also be doing $4 Fireball shots all night long.
On July 4th, Chopshop will feature food and drink specials all day long (including the Patriot Frozen Margarita), and Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, “Forever Mac” will play starting at 9:30 p.m.
