Where to Find Karaoke in Tarrant County Pt I

karaokeby Trey Moran

One thing we enjoy at craveDFW is a good song. The only thing better is the sound of our own voice and that means karaoke. A great means of entertainment, and something that brings friends, family and colleagues together is the song.

We have prepared a list of the best karaoke spots in Dallas. This is in no way a definitive list, but we will continue to update so check back often. Look for a Dallas list soon. Feel free to let us know your favorite spot to wail.

Sam’s Saloon 2546 N. Houston St, Fort Worth (Stockyards) (817) 378-8956

Weds, Fri, Sat 8pm-2am

Good sound system, lot’s of singers, beer & wine only, very smoky.

Hyena’sm 425 Commerce St, Fort Worth (817) 877-5233

Fri-Sat 9pm-2am

Good sound system, crowd comes and goes with the line getting into the comedy show, full bar, non-smoking. (They have recently changed KJ’s)

Sidetracked Pub & Grub 3101 E Division St, Arlington (817) 640-6101

Mon-Sun 9pm-2am

Good sound system, Thursday-Saturday is usually packed with singers and some are very good, full bar, food (stick to the fries), very smoky.

The Tree House (Formerly Big Tree Grill & Tavern) 205 E. Byron Nelson Blvd, Roanoke(817)490-9200

Fri-Sat 8:30pm-2am

As of the last visit there, the video screen was position so that the singer has their back to the crowd, which seems a bit awkward. The crowds are very large and there are a lot of singers so you might only get up once.  Full bar, decent food, non-smoking.  Parking is limited.

Marina’s Restaurant & Bar 1509 W. Euless Blvd, Euless 817-571-5910

Tues-Sun 9pm-2am

Good sound system, weekends are packed with singers, full bar, decent food (excellent burger and fries), very smoky.

North Texas 50/50 Bar  5908 Lake Worth Blvd, Lake Worth (817)378-0052

Thurs & Sun (Sometimes Saturday) 9pm-2am

Fri – Live Band Karaoke 10pm-2am

Good sound system. Just recently re-opened (this was the 50/50 Club for as long as I can remember) so the crowd wasn’t that big on last visit. Live Band is the way to go. They were a bit rough but it was only their second time doing this type of thing.  Full bar, affordable drink prices, very smoky.
