Top Knot’s Uncommon Ramen Series started in 2015 as a limited-run guest chef pop-up. Guest reaction to the series was so positive that the restaurant launched a monthly series, and christened the last Monday of the month “Uncommon Ramen”. The 2017 series has seen a varied roster of guest chefs, from Hai’s own Founder and Owner, Chef Tyson Cole, to BBQ legend Aaron Franklin.
Kicking off the spring collaboration is Chef Misti Norris on April 24 starting at 5pm. The special ramen bowls will sell for $15 with a portion of the proceeds benefits No Kid Hungry. Beer from Community Beer will be offered for pairing.
“It’s been great for our Top Knot team to experience the creative energy of the visiting chefs,” comments Chef Angela. “It’s also fun; we all have a blast together. The chefs leave as a part of our TK family. And our customers enjoy seeing new talent and experiencing that energy, too. It’s a great opportunity all around to do what we love and give back.”
