When a popular steakhouse chef breaks out and opens a taco joint in the burbs you know it will be something special. First, an honest-to-goodness classically trained chef doesn’t know how to leave well enough alone. They think, they create. They also have a passion to feed people, and this is what has become of chef Mo Assi who is owner of Crush Taco. Crush is located off the Dallas Tollway in Frisco near El Dorado. An expanse that was in dire need of tacos.
Crush does clever, kicked up barbacoa and Baja-style fish tacos, and a slew of of tasty combinations that entice. Then there are the daily specials that keep the chef interested and the public happy.
This Saturday Crush will be debuting their Breakfast/Brunch menu. Going forward Crush Taco will be open at 7am weekday and 8am weekends featuring Breakfast Tacos, Bloody Mary’s, and Mimosas. Housemade Beef Chorizo, Pork Sausage, Slow Cooked Brisket and plenty more. It is an experience that you won’t wish to miss.
