Urban Taco, a modern Mexican restaurant by Del Sur Restaurant Group with two locations in Dallas, is taking an opportunity to move into a larger space close to its current one in the Mockingbird Station mixed-use development.
After a successful 10-years, the current lease expires at the end of this month. The Mockingbird Station location will temporarily close Thursday, August 31 only to re-open in a new and larger space by mid-September (exact date TBD). The new address will also allow for a large patio.
Founder, Markus Pinyero explains, “We have worked hard to keep Dallas diners excited and interested in our tacos. After ten years in business, we felt it was perfect timing to gain more square footage and add a patio but stay in the same area. Mockingbird Station has proven to be a successful location for us. We are grateful to our customers and look forward to the future.” Mockingbird Station was the first Urban Taco location. McKinney Avenue opened in 2010.
