Celebrate Autumn with Chili, Beer and Live Music at Comet Fest Chili & Craft Brew Festival


It is not fall in Texas until you have had a great bowl of chili! To welcome the season, mark your calendar for Comet Fest, a chili and craft beer festival happening Saturday, October 28, 2017. Grab a friend and enjoy all the variations of the classic fall staple at the chili cook-off sponsored by the Texas Chef Association Dallas Chapter.

Pair your chili with one of the many refreshing craft beers available and enjoy live music performed by local talent. You won’t want to miss the live Mystery Basket Cooking Showdown between Beat Bobby Flay contestant Jennifer Bajsel and Tara O’Donnell, winner of Chopped Junior. The event will also feature an array of vendors, plenty of chances to win great prizes and other food and beverages.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $30 for VIP, which includes access to the VIP section where event-goers can taste up to six beers brewed locally by Alumni of The University of Texas at Dallas. VIP will also receive a commemorative tasting glass and raffle entry to win a prize. Tickets are available on Eventbrite and at the door.

Hosted by UT Dallas Events & Festivals at Northside, Comet Fest will be held at Northside at UT Dallas, a mixed used development space, affectionately known as “Comet Town” from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Richardson, Texas.
