Garrett Oliver to Common Table Beer Dinner at The Star Feb 5th

DSC00073

Garrett Oliver is the author of the much acclaimed The Brewmaster’s Table and The Oxford Companion to Beer. He is also the brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery, makers of such fine brews as the Brooklyn Weisse, Greenmarket Wheat, Cuvee La Boite and the Sorachi Ace.

The Common Table will host Oliver at the recently opened location at the Star in Frisco where he will be pairing a beautiful dinner that includes New Zealqnd lamb carpaccio, Manhattan little neck clam chowder, a Waldorf salad, an A5 Kobe Tomahawk and a creme brulee with fresh berries. A fantastic menu that should drive the price into the early hundreds, but is actually being offered at $85. A bargain.

The last time Oliver was in town his event sold out in days, and to hear him speak so passionately about the brewing world is nothing short of amazing – whether you are super into beer or not.

Check out prekindle and snatch up a seat because this will sell out extremely fast. The event is February 5th starting at 7pm. You are actually the first to know about this so in order to purchase tickets you’ll need to enter the pre-sale code “WAITINGSUCKS”.
