The Second Annual “Lowest G Cools Down the Big D” presented by Lowest Greenville Collective will take place on Saturday, May 19 from 11am – 6pm.
Back by popular demand and inspiring fundraising results from the inaugural event in 2017, the annual Belmont Street to Ross Avenue block party/fundraiser will continue to raise money and/or donations of fans, window units and portable air conditioning units to help low income disabled and senior citizens in Dallas at-large.
In partnership with the City of Dallas Office of Senior Affairs and the Dallas County Adult Protective Services, volunteers will inform the public about senior needs in Dallas and transport the fans to the Silver Star Room, Dallas Fire/Emergency Department, Dallas Police Department, and other agencies that help senior citizens in need.
Guests are asked to check-in at the table located at Blind Butcher (1919 Greenville Avenue) anytime during the day. Wristband(s) will be given to people who donate a fan, AC unit or $10+.
Those who donate will have the opportunity to enjoy specials from 24 businesses that are members of the Lowest Greenville Collective.
