Lakewood Brewing Company (LBC) is throwing a huge Halloween party for the community. Everyone is invited to Lakewood’s Taproom & Beer Garden on Saturday, October 20th from Noon to 9:00 p.m. to enjoy a day of beer, food, games and weird entertainment.

Wim Bens, Founder & President of Lakewood Brewing Company says, “Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I love the fun and creativity, and our annual ‘Let’s Get Weird’ party is always a great opportunity for our brewers to flex their creative muscles and create unique, one-off brews for the event.”

This year’s celebration will have something for everybody. “We’ll have rare and new beers you can only try here, and we’ll also have fun entertainment that both adults and kiddos will enjoy.”  The brewery will have a variety of free “weird” entertainment on hand, including a .5k fun run, face painting, wild bird viewings, psycic readings and a showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

“Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the entertainment for free, along with a variety of special beers created just for the party. We’ll also have your favorites and rare selections from our beer archive.”

LBC will have 15+ beers available on tap, including the new release of Cherry Rock Ryder, Demon Slayer, and Apricot Manimal, along with an array of vintage and experimental beers. LBC will also have the latest fan-favorite Peanut Butter Temptress on hand. Food trucks will be lined up & ready to serve good eats in the Beer Garden: Little Red Pie Shack Neapolitan style pizza, Yim Yam Truck (Asian fusion and Thai food from 12-9pm) and Dubalicious Cupcakes (12-7pm).

This all-ages event does not require a ticket, so feel free to show up whenever the mood suits you. There will be plenty of beer and weirdness all day long. We’ll have a costume contest at 4pm with prizes for the scariest, most original, couples and best kids costumes.
