Sushi Marquee Attempts World Sake Bomb Record… Again

Last year, Sushi Marquee set the World Record for “largest group sake bomb” at 240 simultaneous sake bombs. Some say that records were made to be broken… but Sushi Marquee’s was broken by a restaurant in Florida. And that cannot stand. So, on April 14, Sushi Marquee is out to reclaim its title—and this time, they’re hoping for 500 participants.

This free event is open to everyone who’s 21+ and thirsty. When the day comes, the fun-loving restaurant and bar will pull out all the stops to bring the title back to Texas where it belongs. That includes a DJ, delicious sushi, and drink specials from Tyku Sake, Sapporo Beer and Pina Loca.

Before April 14 arrives, all you need to do is RSVP via the link —that’s your way of ensuring there’s a complimentary sake bomb waiting for you. Then, join the party at Sushi Marquee and prepare to make some history. It’s going to be a fun day, and hopefully when it’s all over, there will be a new champion in town.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. and group sake bomb attempt will begin at 3 p.m.
