The newest concept by North Texas Restaurateur Brent Tipps, Sidecar Social, is now open. Located in Addison’s Village on the Parkway (5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 401, 75254), a popular outdoor retail and dining destination, the original concept is open seven days a week for guests to enjoy the 20,000-square-foot social lounge experience.
“We are beyond thrilled to offer our guests a place to hang out, play, relax and connect while enjoying delicious bites and cocktails,” said Brent Tipps. “We designed Sidecar Social to be very interactive. From shareable plates and free multi-person games to live music and sports watching, it is a great place to come with friends and stay for a while.”
There are eight sections to the food menu including: Shareables, Flat Breads, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Entrees, Sharable Sides and Desserts. Menu highlights, created by Consulting Chef Jason Harper, encompass Smoked Burnt End Nachos, a shareable appetizer featuring wonton chips, smoked brisket, tri-cheese blend, black beans, Pico de Gallo and BBQ crema, the Southwest Blackened Chicken Salad with avocado, roasted red peppers, corn, tomato, crispy tortilla strips, onions, jack and cheddar cheese, and in-house roasted pepper ranch, the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich featuring crispy Southern fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce on sweet coleslaw, pickled red onions and house made pickles, and more.
Two large bars are positioned within the social lounge, one horseshoe bar in the lounge area next to the main dining room and entrance and a giant, rectangular bar in the primary two-story club room. A variety of handcrafted cocktails, such as the Sidecar Margarita, the Texas Honey Killer Bee, and on-tap cocktails such as the Elderflower Paloma and the Italian 76 are available to be enjoyed at the bar, while mingling and gaming or watching live entertainment, and while dining.
Free, classic, indoor games for grownups include a giant, eight-person foosball table, private ping-pong room, shuffleboard, bocce ball, pop-a-shot, corn hole and darts. Three enormous 18-foot televisions are poised throughout the club room, as well as many additional flat screens, perfect for sports viewing. Sidecar Social has created a stellar lineup of weekly events, including weekly Dallas Cowboys watching parties and Live Band Karaoke every Wednesday, which is expected to draw large crowds. Additionally, Sidecar Social has partnered with Operation Kindness, a local organization that serves the largest no-kill animal shelters in North Texas. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly and is an ideal place to bring dogs to enjoy the Human’s Best Friend Bowl, a specially prepared chicken and rice bowl with all proceeds donated to Operation Kindness.
Sidecar Social is located within the southeast quadrant of Belt Line Road and Dallas North Parkway, west of Montfort Road and to the north across from the AMC Theater entrance.
