Tickets for Chicken Thang, brought to you by Meat Fight, Inc., will go on sale Tuesday, March 10th at 10 a.m. through Prekindle.com.
What is Chicken Thang? Easy. It’s a fried chicken competition. For charity. You should come. Let’s do some good for other people while we stuff our faces with fried chicken. It’s the clearest win-win ever.
The ten Dallas chefs competing for the Best Fried Chicken trophy include, but aren’t limited to: Omar Flores of Muchaco, Jeffery Hobbs of Slow Bone BBQ, Jeff Bekavac of Zoli’s and Misti Norris of Petra and the Beast.
Judges of this year’s event are Donovan Lewis (SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket), Sandra Bussey (2018 Chicken Thang winner and BBBop Seoul Kitchen), and Doug Ward (WhistlePig Rye Whiskey National Brand Ambassador and Honorable Mention at the 2019 Meat Fight 1k Pie Eat).
Attendees will get the chance to sample fried chicken from the competitors, plus mac ‘n cheese from Heim BBQ, biscuits from Crossroads Diner, desserts from Dude Sweet Chocolate and Humble Pies, and beverages from OHB, Union Bear, WhistlePig Rye Whiskey and Tito’s Vodka. Plus, everyone gets a Chicken Thang cafeteria tray to help you navigate this fried chicken party like a boss.
