Primo’s To Open In Statler

Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge, which returned to North Texas with its Uptown location earlier this year, will open its second location Monday, July 20 at Dallas’ iconic Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas.

“Primo’s opening has been such a success in Uptown and we’re excited to bring that energy and excitement to downtown Dallas,” notes Robert Hall, CEO of Refined Hospitality Concepts. “Extending the Primo’s brand to this space at the Statler allows us to meet the growing need for private dining spaces with the food and cocktails for which Primo’s is known and loved.”

The restaurant will be housed on the Statler’s first floor next to new pizza and meatball concept, Sfereco, that recently opened. Guests at Primo’s Downtown can expect the same evolved Tex-Mex cuisine and elevated cocktails they have come to expect from the Uptown rebirth. Guest favorites include appetizers such as Carne Asada Fries, Crab-Stuffed Avocado, and Primo’s Villa Dip, Tex Mex specialties including a vegetarian Enchiladas de Champinones and Tableside Fajitas and popular brunch items like Chilaquiles Burrito and Churro Waffles. The Primo’s team anticipates takeout and delivery to be exceptionally popular at the downtown outpost as well as private dining options.

Primo’s is prepared to welcome guests with an unparalleled eye toward safety and sanitation. In addition to operational standards that meet or exceed CDC and TRA standards, the RHC team temperature screens all guests as they enter the restaurant, use only QR code menus, and offer hand sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant.

“We know that not all of our guests are prepared to dine in at a restaurant yet,” reminds Robert Hall. “Therefore, Primo’s will open with a robust curbside takeout and third party delivery program to ensure all of our guests can enjoy our cuisine and our cocktails.”

Primo’s is currently offered on several third party delivery platforms, including UberEats, Grubhub and Seamless.

“We are thrilled to offer the city’s best Tex-Mex food and cocktails with easy curbside or delivery and dine-in as well,” explains Corporate Executive Chef Ryan Carbery. “We’re excited to be able to grow the Primo’s brand and bring a unique elevated Tex-Mex experience to the downtown Dallas.”
