Ebb & Flow opened in Deep Ellum in the fall of 2019, bringing dinner, drinks and brunch to the lively dining and nightlife district. Now, the concept is opening a new location in another hotspot—the Shops at Legacy in Plano—with the doors slated to open in early March.
Ebb & Flow is owned and operated by Dallas Hale (Shell Shack, Sushi Marquee) and his brother, Eric Bradford. Hale has established himself as a successful restaurateur, and Bradford worked in the music scene for a decade, managing top-tier venues like the Bomb Factory and Trees, before partnering with his brother to open Ebb & Flow. The restaurant is a culmination of their experiences, blending good food, drinks and music into one fun-loving space.
The Shops at Legacy restaurant is taking over the old Coal Vines spot at the northeast corner of Legacy and the Dallas North Tollway. The interior dining room and full bar span 3,000 square feet and are complemented by an open-air patio that provides another 1,000 square feet of space.
Plano’s Ebb & Flow will be designed by Laura Bradford and feature unexpected design elements, including beautiful tile floors, eye-catching chandeliers hanging over the bar, and a garden-like patio adorned with ivy and flowers, very similar to its Deep Ellum location.
The kitchen will put out the same great food with favorite dishes including fresh salads and appetizers like Toasted Ravioli, Crispy Meatballs, Cubano Egg Rolls and Sausage Queso. Handhelds like the Burger and Patty Melt—each featuring Akaushi beef—as well as the turkey-bacon-avocado California sandwich provide more sustenance, along with larger plates like Turkey Stroganoff, Grilled Mahi Mahi and Ratatouille.
Behind the bar, the talented bartenders will offer delicious cocktails, from classics to original concoctions. Try the Garden Margarita, Seasonal Old Fashioned and Frozen Watermelon Mule, or keep things simple with a glass of wine or one of more than two dozen beers, with a focus on Texas craft breweries.
