Flying Fish Celebrates National Crawfish Day

Flying Fish, the fast-casual seafood eatery with multiple Dallas locations is celebrating National Crawfish Day (Saturday, April 17), with a free t-shirt giveaway with the purchase of 5 lbs of crawfish. Additionally, guest can enjoy 1/2 priced José Cuervo margaritas and Big Beers all day.

Harvested from Louisiana, the spicy crustaceans are boiled to order in Flying Fish’ signature seafood seasonings and served ready to “pinch, twist and suck” along with smoked andouille sausage, corn and potatoes ($8.95 per lb., add $2 for sausage).

Inspired by the East Texas seafood joints on area lakes and especially Caddo Lake, Flying Fish has twelve outposts throughout North Texas, Houston, Arkansas and Tennessee.

The extensive menu features catfish, shrimp, oysters, alligator, frog legs grilled fish, crab legs, burgers, chicken and mudbugs (seasonal). Offerings including grilled fish are topped with your choice of traditional, snappy, chimichurri or with garlic butter, boiled platters, fried seafood baskets, salads, oysters on the half shell, fish tacos as well as Southern specialties including po’ boys, jambalaya, grits and gumbo, homemade hushpuppies, pickled green tomatoes and from scratch desserts. Ice cold bottle or draft beer, wine and home made margaritas also available.
