Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Shop, Dallas-Fort Worth’s critically acclaimed Roman and Neapolitan pizza kitchen, is launching late-night weekend hours for carryout and delivery. Starting August 13, on Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m. in Dallas and midnight in Fort Worth, Olivella’s can be picked up or delivered.
It is also augmenting its already-robust pizza offering to include Detroit-style pizza as a late-night-only option at its Camp Bowie location in Fort Worth. Building on its legacy of century-old recipes from one of Naples, Italy’s oldest pizza families, the nationally recognized traditional Italian pizzeria is creating a unique Detroit-style pizza using beloved old-style Italian flavors. Detroit pizza, which features sauce on top of the pie and a thicker, rectangular crust, will only be available during late-night shifts via Olivella’s delivery or third-party delivery in Fort Worth. It will be available at the restaurant’s Dallas locations later this fall.
“As we continue to innovate and broaden our offerings, we are excited that our customers will now have the opportunity to enjoy award-winning and delicious pizzas and pastas for extended hours on the weekends,” said Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Shop founder Charlie Green. “You may be in Dallas or Fort Worth, but at the end of a late weekend night, starting August 13th you’ll be able to get the same authentic pie you’d happen upon in Rome or Naples.”
The extended hours and new pizza style come on the heels of spring 2021 announcement that Olivella’s was rebranding as Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Shop.
“The rebranding was a natural progression as we’ve expanded our on-site wine shopping areas, curated an extensive dine-in wine list, have daily tastings, a wine club, and, now, wines available for carryout and delivery after other retailers may have closed for the night,” says Olivella’s Sommelier and Operations Director Simon Holguin.”
The dine-in wine list now includes 50 wines from around the globe and domestically, including from various regions of Italy, France, California, Oregon, South America, and Washington State. Price points range from $28 to $140 when dining in. The same labels are discounted for carryout, ranging from $10 to $100. Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Shop also offers a large selection of limited-time and restaurant-only wines. In Fort Worth, Olivella’s itself and third-party partners will deliver wine; in Dallas, wine can be delivered through DoorDash and Uber Eats.
