Addison is getting not one, but two new restaurants at 5000 Belt Line Road. The bustling strip will very soon welcome Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails and Sonny & Sons in side-by-side spaces, with each offering a distinct and delicious menu to area diners.
Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails is an elegant but comfortable spot serving seasonal American food with a Southern touch. Between its dining room and airy patio, the 5,000-square-foot restaurant seats 150 people. The full bar will pour craft beers, wines by the bottle and the glass, and fresh-made cocktails, like the Sazerac, Pimm’s Cup and classic Martini service.
The kitchen will cook up dinner, lunch and brunch items that are sure to be instant hits. Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays, with popular items including a Texas Toast Casserole, Crab Omelet and Souffle Pancakes, plus salads and sandwiches. The dinner menu features starters like Old Fashioned Cornbread and Deviled Egg Spread, and entrees like Spatchcock Chicken, Speckled Trout and Maine Lobster, plus Blackened Texas Redfish, Gulf Shrimp, and a Dry-Aged Pork Chop.
Sonny & Sons is a fast-casual spot dedicated to chicken. The menu includes fried chicken, half birds, quarter birds, tenders, and sandwiches, all available in different heat levels. The only-for-the-brave Reaper is hellishly hot. Sides include Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, Cole Slaw and Shoestring Potatoes.
The kitchen is also making donuts that will rotate daily, so you can finish your meal with a fun dessert or start your morning with a sweet treat. Sonny & Sons is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with pick-up and delivery options available via all major delivery companies.
