The stars will be out in full force at Horseshoe Bay Resort when the ninth annual Beer By The Bay Music Festival returns Aug. 12 – 13. The resort’s fun-packed signature summer event will again showcase a diverse and exciting collection of country musicians and Texas-based breweries.
Headlined by two talented performers – multi-platinum country music superstar Lauren Alaina (“Road Less Traveled”, “What Ifs” with Kane Brown, “One Beer” with HARDY, and more) and country music hit-maker Joe Nichols (“Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”, “Sunny and 75”, “Brokenheartsville”, “Gimme That Girl”, and more) – the 9th Annual Beer by the Bay Music Festival combines world-class entertainment, beer, cuisine and fun by the lake. Festival packages include accommodations, admission each night, culinary offerings and craft beer tastings inside the festival site. Dubbed “the silver pompadoured, baritone beltin’, Lone Star beer drinkin’, honky-tonk hellraiser” by The Austin Chronicle, Dale sat in with Jimmy Kimmel’s house band as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) from SXSW 2015. He also emceed the first-ever SXSW “Ameripolitan” showcase featuring the best of Honky-tonk, Outlaw Country, Rockabilly and Texas Swing music.
Lauren Alaina | 9:40pm
Ten years into her Nashville career, Lauren is in the upper echelon of country music’s most authentic voices, beloved personalities, and open hearts. Kate was recently nominated “New Female Artist of The Year” for the annual Texas Regional Radio Awards” in Arlington, Texas March 28, 2022. She will perform for attendees the night before the awards during the Texas Regional Radio Future Faces Show at Texas Live!
Texas Hill | 8:15pm
Texas Hill is the new vocal trio of Craig Wayne Boyd, Adam Wakefield and Casey James. Craig offers a voice full of gospel-tinged country smoke, Adam blends a rootsy bluegrass-and-Americana rasp, and Casey wraps it with a blue-eyed soul quality and deft blues guitar chops. The result is a band that’s both rock solid and highly adaptive. Texas Hill is instantly identifiable, thanks to its well-developed signature sound: a proud, in-your-face harmonic wall. It’s an approach that has earned Nichols multi-platinum success, three Grammy nominations, a CMA award, and an ACM trophy.
