Following a highly successful opening of its first two restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Portillo’s – the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago-style street food – today announced plans to expand further in the Lone Star State with a new DFW restaurant.
The new Portillo’s restaurant will be located in Denton at Rayzor Ranch Town Center, at the corner of Interstate 35 and University Drive. Designed with a Southwest garage theme, the 7,700 square-foot restaurant will feature seating for more than 170 guests inside as well as a seasonal outdoor patio with room for about 50 more guests. It will also feature the brand’s signature double drive-thru lanes to accommodate off-premise guests.

“We’ve loved the amazing reception from fans across the Dallas-Fort Worth area,” says Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo. “Growing the DFW market is a clear priority for Portillo’s. We’ve opened successfully in The Colony and Allen, and will be in Arlington and Fort Worth by the end of the year. We can’t wait for Denton to be our fifth in the market, so we can bring our unrivaled street food to new and longtime fans across the region.”
When the new restaurant opens for business, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
Fans are invited to sign up for the chance to attend a free sneak peek training meal prior to the opening of the Denton restaurant by visiting Portillos.com/Denton. Loyal fans will also receive updates on Portillo’s developments and events surrounding the new restaurants.

False Headline!! Did you not take journalism 101???
“Portillo’s Opens in Denton” BY STEVEN DOYLE | SEPTEMBER 12, 2023 · 2:32 PM — The headline leads readers to think the Denton Portillo’s is open already but I read in a credible news source, which this one is not, that the Denton Portillo’s is opening at the end of 2023. Seems like no one fact checked or proof-read Steven Doyle’s the story.
