Bourbon Street Bar & Grill to Offer Cajun Fried Turkeys, Turduckens, More

This year, the Cajun Market at Bourbon Street Bar & Grill, Tarrant County’s favorite Cajun outpost, isn’t just making your Thanksgiving celebration easy. It’s making it Big Easy. The popular Louisiana-inspired restaurant is offering a wide array of take-out entrees perfect for any Thanksgiving celebration.

Nearly 50 million turkeys are eaten across the country for Thanksgiving, but the tastiest of these are Cajun deep-fried turkeys. And while turkey frying accidents vex fire departments and EMTs each year, Phil Tullis and his team at Bourbon Street have made it easy. Guests who order their bird by November 10 can enjoy a 12–15-pound fried turkey for only $85.

Additionally, the restaurant will offer roasted turduckens, which feature a boneless chicken stuffed inside a duck which is stuffed inside a turkey. Turduckens are $135 each. Those wanting a smaller feast can order a boneless, stuffed chicken meal for $80. The meal also includes a quart of either dirty rice or cornbread dressing and one quart of bread pudding.

To order Thanksgiving specialties, diners should either email phil@thecajunmarket.com, call 817-527-5640 or visit the restaurant at 1833 Airport Freeway in Bedford by Friday, November 10. Pick up for Thanksgiving specialties will be available until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22
