“It’s been amazing bringing Gino’s East and true Chicago-style pizza to Texas,” said ATX Brands CEO and Founder Doug Guller. “We’ve seen great success with our Texas locations so far, and we knew that the next area to share Chicago’s best pizza with had to be Arlington.”   Continue reading

burgerby Steven Doyle

Kenny Mills is a bodacious fan of the burger, and does them extremely well at his burger emporium  at 1700 West Park Row in Arlington. We would love to point out that not one, but six of Dallas’ players will be playing in the Pro Bowl. The Cowboys  are sending quarterback Tony Romo and leading NFL rusher DeMarco Murray, as well as wide receiver Dez Bryant; center Travis Frederick; rookie guard Zack Martin; and tackle Tyron Smith.  Continue reading

rangersby Steven Doyle

Walking through the various parking lots you will see plumes of smoke as tailgaters are taking advantage of the beautiful weather and pre-game spirits.  Grills are in full production to beat hunger, and possibly the high prices set inside the park for hot dogs and nachos. As many know the Ranger chefs have been busy over the past few year to set themselves apart from the past driven by sad boiled wieners and flimsy pseudo-cheese soaked chips. The Boomstick is a 2-foot all-beef hot dog, smothered in chili, nacho cheese, jalapenos and caramelized onions, all on top of a massive potato bun. The whole thing weighs in at 3 pounds, and when introduced in 2012 the Rangers sold a half million dollars worth of the dogs that first year.  Continue reading
