A recent visit to the Ranger’s stadium netted a few new hot items that have been added to the menu of absurd. The first is the Tanaco, a giant 24 inch taco made fresh at the ballpark, and filled with one foot of seasoned ground beef and another foot of seasoned chicken. The whole monstrosity is then topped with shredded lettuce, nacho cheese, pico de gallo, sliced jalapeños and sour cream. Continue reading

Burger of the Day: Kenny Mill’s Chop House Burger
Kenny Mills is a bodacious fan of the burger, and does them extremely well at his burger emporium at 1700 West Park Row in Arlington. The birth of the Boomstick brought in a new era to the ballpark, one worthy of Texas bragging rights. The Boomstick is a 2-foot all-beef hot dog, smothered in chili, nacho cheese, jalapenos and caramelized onions, all on top of a massive potato bun. The whole thing weighs in at 3 pounds, and when introduced in 2012 the Rangers sold a half million dollars worth of the dogs that first year. Continue reading
