John Tesar Hosts 10th Annual Burgers and Burgundy Oct 5th

The Joule Hotel will host the tenth annual Burgers & Burgundy event, presented by Celebrity Chef John Tesar and Terri Provencal, benefiting DIFFA/Dallas (The Dallas Chapter of Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS) at the Eye at The Joule on Friday, October 5, 2018.

Funds raised from the event will go towards DIFFA/Dallas’ mission of serving those who are affected by HIV/AIDS across North Texas. This year’s Event Chair, Mohammad Jaber, is joined by Brian Loving and Southwest Funding LP, long-time supporters and co-hosts of the event. “I am looking forward to celebrating Burgers & Burgundy’s 10th annual event by creating a memorable top-notch culinary experience which our guests have grown accustomed to from DIFFA,” says Jaber of DIFFA/Dallas. Ninth Annual Burgers & Burgundy Presented by Chef John Tesar and Terri Provencal, Benefiting DIFFA/Dallas

The Joule Hotel will host the ninth annual Burgers & Burgundy event, presented by Celebrity Chef John Tesar and Terri Provencal, benefiting DIFFA/Dallas (The Dallas Chapter of Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS) at the Eye at The Joule on Friday, October 6, 2017.

Funds raised from the event will go towards DIFFA/Dallas’ mission of serving those who are affected by HIV/AIDS across North Texas. This year’s Event Chair, Phil Harrison, is joined by Allan Knight, long-time supporter and title sponsor of the event. “We are excited to continue the momentum this one-of-a-kind dining experience has created for the charity for almost a decade, where our supporters can have a wonderful time, knowing their contributions are going to agencies and people with the greatest need,” says Harrison of DIFFA/Dallas. Burgers and Burgundy Raises Funds For DIFFA

The annual Burgers and Burgundy to raise funds for DIFFA (the Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) event took place Sunday on a beautiful evening in the stunning grounds of the home of Bill and Karen Seanor. DIFFA has a way of choosing outstanding venues for this casual classy event (for example, two years ago it was on the garden level at The House) and this year’s choice was no exception.

Chefs participating in the event led by John Tesar (Spoon Bar & Kitchen) included Samir Dhurandhar (Nick & Sam’s), Sharon Van Meter (3015 Trinity Groves), Tim Byres (Smoke), Patton Robertson (Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck), Kevin Williamson (Ranch 616), T.J. Legnick (Shinsei), Patrick Russell (Max’s Wine Dive), Brad Phillips (Asador), Blaine Staniford (Grace) and Whole Foods.    Continue reading

Celebrity chefs will join Chef John Tesar at the home of Bill and Karen Seanor, Sunday, September 29th, 2013 for the fifth annual Burgers & Burgundy event benefitting The Dallas Chapter of DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS). Each chef has been tasked with the challenge to serve up the best burger sliders and compliment them with the burgundy of their choice. Chefs Announced For Burgers And Burgundy

Earlier this week we announced the annual Burgers and Burgundy event featuring Chef John Tesar at the home of Anne and Steve Stodghill, Friday, October 19th, 2012. This is a wonderful event that benefits DIFFA, an AIDS service organization that to date has funneled nearly $5 million dollars to local organizations to assist the North Texas community.

Each chef has been tasked with the challenge to serve up the best burger sliders and compliment them with the burgundy of their choice. Wines and specialty cocktails will also be available. Continue reading
