‘Twas a magical Friday evening in Klyde Warren Park, where some of Dallas’ most acclaimed chefs gathered for the annual Burgers + Burgundy celebration. At Burgers + Burgundy, chefs offer samples of their signature burgers and pair them with wines of their choices. Each year, Burgers + Burgundy has a theme, and this year’s was Feather Fete. Attendees arrived to Klyde Warren in their most fabulous feathered attire.
This year’s Burgers + Burgundy was hosted by chef John Tesar (Knife) and Terri Provencal, publisher and editor in chief of Patron Magazine. Tesar sampled his signature Ozersky burger and paired with a lovely bugundy.
Other good offerings of the night were the cast iron beef slider made with 44 Farms Beef by chef Sharon Van Meter (3015 Trinity Groves) and the Szechuan beef burger by chef Jacob Williamson (560 by Wolfgang Puck).
During Burgers + Burgundy, the much-anticipated 2019-2020 DIFFA/Dallas Style Council Ambassadors and DIFFA Legends were announced. Joining the prestigious Style Council are Alison Volk, Chris Angelle, David Dummer, David Weir, JD Miller, Ken Weber, Kimberly Alexander, Kris Ammon, Kyle Shiels, Lara Whittington, Neil Cazares-Thomas, Steve Noviello, and Yana Greenstein.
