Since opening in Legacy West in Plano this past February, Bulla Gastrobar has been providing suburban shoppers with authentic Spanish tapas. From refreshing sangrias to indulgent, warm paella, everything at Bulla encompasses the spices and flavors of Spain.

Plano’s booming Legacy West development will soon be home to one of the most highly anticipated new dining destinations in all of North Texas: KĀI, an original Japanese-themed concept from the legendary Lombardi family.
The family-run restaurant company recently began construction on its first KĀI location at 7301 Windrose Ave. in Plano, in anticipation of a late summer grand opening. This is the third Lombardi Family Concepts restaurant to open in Legacy West – the most of any restaurant group in the development. Taverna opened in November 2017, and Toulouse opened March 2018. “Gourmet, artisanal, natural, the way nature intended.” That’s the philosophy at locally owned Berrynaked, which is taking its artful, trend-setting popsicles northward with the June opening of a flagship location in Richardson. The grand opening event, benefiting the American Heart Association, is set for Saturday, June 17. Berrynaked also just signed with the massive new Legacy Hall at Legacy West in Plano, with plans to open its stall in early September.
Building on the success of Berrynaked’s Inwood Village location in Dallas, the new Richardson shop will be the first to premiere a brand new Berrynaked product: a line of superfood-focused purée bowls categorized as “Soulful” along with a line of “Sinful” dessert purée bowls. Continue reading
Legacy West’s grand opening celebrations are scheduled for Friday, June 2-Sunday, June 4, 2017. The celebration weekend will feature live entertainment from top national and local musical acts as well as food and drink tastings, special store discounts and a “sneak peek” first look inside Legacy Hall, the 55,000 square foot food hall. The crowds can also catch a close-up look at Visit Plano’s new hot air balloon, “Excellence,” which will be tethered on site during the festivities, weather permitting. Continue reading
Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group announced the opening date for its next Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House. The 14,000 square foot, two-story restaurant will open to the public on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Legacy West in Plano as part of the luxury, prime, mixed-use development, including retail and restaurants, hotels, offices, apartments, and condominiums. This will mark the first time Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group has opened a Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in Plano and Collin County. This will be the third location in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Continue reading
