For as long as Uchi has been in North Texas, getting in has meant a dinner reservation. That changes next month in Plano.
Uchiko Plano starts serving lunch on Friday, Nov. 6. It’s the first time any of Hai Hospitality’s Uchi restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, including Uchi and Uchibā Dallas, has opened its doors at midday. Lunch will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

When The Henry opened in Uptown in 2019, it quickly became the default answer for half the questions Dallas asks about where to eat. A business lunch, a birthday dinner, a Saturday brunch that runs long, and a coffee meeting that turns into a cocktail all ended up there. Seven years later, it’s still an Uptown fixture.
Now Plano gets its own. The Henry opens its second Dallas-Fort Worth location on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 7700 Windrose Ave. in Legacy West, across the street from Legacy Hall. A grand opening celebration follows on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Legacy Hall has added a new tenant, and the timing could not be better. Cheese Lab, the Nashville concept built entirely around grilled cheese, is now open inside the Plano food hall, and its arrival happens to land on National Mac and Cheese Day. Consider that a sign.
This is the second location for Cheese Lab, which got its start inside Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway in downtown Nashville. Founder and CEO Youssef Koutout built the menu on a simple premise: take the most familiar sandwich in America and refuse to leave it alone.

Neighborhood Goods itself is an innovative concept, bringing to life an array of brands that once only were available for purchase online.
