For more than two years there was a promise for the space at 4513 Travis, formerly Trece. The Establishment opened just over one month ago, and since there has been mention of a dozen types of oysters, our friend and photographer Joey Stewart happily volunteered to buzz in a few times to check out the new menu. The Establishment’s Adjoining Reservation Bar Opens This Week

Look for the new reservation bar that is attached to the space that will soon become the Establishment to open this week. Brian Williams and Michael Martensen both hosted a sneak preview for friends and family this past Friday evening, and we were able to get a glimpse of the bar.

Currently the bar has no name and Martensen said they are still tweaking the logo. Rumor has it that the space might be named Bar Smyth, but that could change. Continue reading →

This weekend Brian Williams and Michael Martensen threw a party in the parking lot of The Establishment, their latest restaurant which opens in December 2012. The lot was packed full of people seeking out 14 varieties of oysters, Cane Rosso pizza, and a small variety of beer, champagne and oyster shooters using Aylesbury Duck Vodka. Continue reading →

OysterFest 2012 This Weekend

To celebrate the announcement of their new restaurant The Establishment, Brian Williams and Michael Martensen are throwing a little party in the parking lot of the new location at 4513 Travis near Knox in Dallas. The party is Sunday, October 28 from 2 to 6pm and they just announced their list of lucious bivalves for OysterFest 2012 which we list below.
