Fort Worth ‘Boomerang’ to Open Fort Worth’s First Self-Pour Taproom on August 24

Hoppin’ is set to open in Fort Worth’s The Foundry District on August 24. This
new innovative bar concept (2608 Weisenberger St., Fort Worth, TX 76107) marks an introduction of self-
pour taprooms to Fort Worth and the franchise’s first Texas location.

Originally started in Charlotte, NC in 2017, Hoppin’ is a cutting-edge taproom concept that equips
customers with technology that tallies their self-poured drinks and reduces service time.
The new location in The Foundry District is owned by Michael Brittner and wife and Fort Worth
boomerang Holly Brittner, who were introduced to Hoppin’ when they moved to Charlotte, NC in 2016.
The couple fell in love with the taproom’s self-pour concept, modern ambiance, and community feel,
deciding then to bring the franchise to Holly’s hometown of Fort Worth after moving back to be closer to
family.
